Sadaqah Ajariyah for the late Mariam Bobat
Help us raise money for Water Wells 4 Yemen
Grandmother to 3, mother to 3 and a Devoted wife of 53 years, Mariam suffered several illnesses for most of her life including severe epilepsy for 51 and colitis including having a stoma for the past 8 years. During her life and living with limited mobility she was a pillar of the community carrying out her charitable duties and living her life to serve others. Mariam, will be dearly missed by everyone, the void she has left in life of those who knew her is irreplaceable. She was the hub and life of the household and her absence is now greatly felt. In honour of Mariam's life and to continue to support charitable causes that were so very close to her heart we are now raising funds as sadaqah jariah to build a Solar water well in Yemen.
Your donation, however small is greatly appreciated. Please help this special cause by giving what you can. May your intentions and contributions be rewarded in abundance.
Yemen has a severe water crisis with some estimates suggesting the capital, Sanaa, could run dry in 10 years. 19.3 million Yemenis do not have access to clean water and sanitation. Of these, 50 per cent have been directly cut off from this basic necessity of life by the conflict.
Due to this poor water supply, our brothers, sisters & children of Yemen are suffering from outbreaks of diseases such as cholera and in most cases the outcome is fatal.
With your support we can make a difference,
Each well costs £3,500 to install.
lets change the lives of an entire community and generations to come with access to a fresh, clean & safe water supply.
This project is Sadaqah & Lillah Applicable.
Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.”
