A Masjid in the name of my Beloved Mum

Description

Our beloved Ummi, an active and independent mother, turned dependent after a period of ill health and returned to Allah SWT in April 2019.

She firmly believed in this being a blessing from Allah SWT in disguise and never once complained about her suffering, instead she always proclaimed that Allah SWT tests those whom He loves and it is also Allah SWT who gives cure.

For this reason, she wore her illness as a crown and faced each task as a soldier and never once let it bring her down or break her

She was indeed a loving mother and wife - not only did she touch our hearts but touched the hearts of everyone she knew.

Her name alone was the reason for many to smile. She was known for her resilience, strength and her optimistic smile that nothing could wipe off her face, to the extent that she departed from this world with it - Alhamdulilah.

Regardless of her pain and suffering, her generosity never decreased. She helped many people in the community and was always involved in charity work through the efforts of fundraising and sponsoring orphan children.

Her aim was to create awareness amongst the people of how easy it was to lend a helping hand to someone in need, never was she ashamed to speak up about it and encourage people to give in charity.

We are therefore hoping we can continue to be of benefit to our beloved mother as much as we tried to be when she was around and we intend to fundraise for a Masjid to be built as sadaqah e Jaariyah (on-going charity) for her on-going reward.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” And more so.

" When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except 3: sadaqah jaariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge (which he has left behind), or a righteous child who will pray for him."

We pray that this effort of ours is accepted by Allah and that through our donations on behalf of our beloved mother we are able to gift her with this palace in paradise.

May our mother be forgiven and granted a lofty status in Paradise with ease Ameen.

Please do donate generously and help us reach the target of only £6500 to build a Masjid.

May Allah preserve the Masjid and continuously accept the Sadaqah Jaariyah on behalf of our mother – Ameen.
