A once-in-a-lifetime journey this summer.
Labelled as ‘Hajj-Ride’. We will be traversing 7 countries; United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Egypt, before reaching the beautiful city of Madinah.
All in support of Human Aid UK, an international humanitarian charity, for the purpose of organising a charity cycle challenge during the period of 4-6 weeks building up to the period of Hajj with a goal of building awareness on the need for medical equipment in Syria.
Statistics reveal that many doctors who are helping those in war torn Syria are in desperate need for medical equipment for those affected.
· The atrocities have been well documented and we need not have to look far for numerous incidents where a medic couldn’t save a life
· And why was that? Because there is a shortage of medical equipment
· Here is an opportunity for you brothers and sisters to play a hand in saving lives of those injured and in need of medical treatment
· Remember, we learn from the Qur’an that “if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind…”
We also need to find ways to ensure that our community are better informed about this issue. We hope to successfully convey this message at a wider scope coming up to and including the holy month of Ramadan, after which we plan to set forth on this pioneering effort of cycling from London to Madinah for the purpose of Hajj and all the while continuing our fundraising efforts.
May Allah reward you all for your support,
