We want to help make real change to the lives of people and families in Bangladesh by eradicating poverty. One of the best ways is to help people through setting them up with micro businesses, income generating projects and other self sustainable projects.

Our target is raise a total of £50,000 this Ramadan, once we raise the funds we will have a team from UK who will go and oversee the delivery of all projects.
You may donate Sadaqa - Zakaat - or Lillah for some of these projects.

Types of Self Sustainable Projects Available
Project 1 - Milking cows - 1 dairy cow costs £250 families will be able to raise and look after the cow which in return they will be bale to drink its milk and sell the rest to generate income. Once the cow gives birth to its calves the owners would be able raise the calves and sell them on the market. (Sadaqa, Zakaat, Lillah). We need 20 milking cows
Project 2 - Mini Fish Farm - £250 will get 1 family a share in a fish farm for a whole year. They will be able fish their own fish all year round and sell the excess fish to generate income. We need 20 mini fish farms
Project 3 - Woolly Sheep - £120 ( £60 a sheep) will get a one family a sheep couple (male and female). Families will raise them and benefit from milk, wool. offspring and meat. They will also me bale to sell meat, milk and wool to generate income.
Project 4 - Organic Chicken - £120 will get one family a entire flock of egg laying free change chickens (50 chickens). The families would be able to raise the flock and benefit from eggs, meat and new hatch-lings.
Project 5 - Electric Rickshaw - £550 will get 1 person an electric cycle rickshaw which they can ride around effortlessly compared to the traditional pedalled ones. 1 charge lasts them the whole day and they can earn enough to sustain their families. Using this person would be able to generate £150 to £200 a month. May sound like a little for us but its a life changing amount for beneficiary. There are two types of rickshaw one is to carry people and the other is to carry goods,we will let purchase the most suitable type for each person. We need a total of 10 Rickshaws.
Project 6 - Sewing Machine for Women - £120 - Will cover the cost of one sewing machine and training. Women will be then empowered to work from home and generate income by tailoring clothes and other useful goods. These same women would be then be able to train other women of their household. Having machines at home and the chance to generate income also means that they will be safe from exploitation of many kinds. eg sweat shops, high interest loans and sexual exploitation.
