Build a Masjid for Allah, build a home in paradise

Helping Africa

Recently it came to my attention that Muslims in parts of Uganda are without mosques to pray in so let's change that.

Somebody i know very well sent some video's to me showing fields and spaces under trees where the Muslims were congregating to pray without any facilities like shelter,  floor converting,  seating etc.  They decided to do something about it and have since built some masjids there on a budget of £4000 each. This figure to me was a surprise and i believe inshaAllah we can raise that amount and do this.

The project is really really cheap,  its 100% without fees and inshaAllah one day some of us will visit the Muslims there.

The masjid will be set up with an imaam who will be aided through a local network.

“The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance”

[at-Tawbah 9:18].

I understand some of you reading would like to fund a masjid yourselves and you can.

Please share with friends so you get the reward too and make dua Allah accepts this which is sincerely for His sake alone.

Abu Mas’ud reported: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “My animal has died, so help me.” The Prophet said, “I do not have anything.” Another man said, “O Messenger of Allah, I can show him someone who can help him.” The Prophet said, “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a similar reward.

About 1Eid Celebration Committee

How an Eid Festival managed to use its platform to help those in need

Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.

1Eid's intention was to be global and fulfill our aims of social inclusion and bringing communities together. Since 2007 our dawah has grown to support and facilitate dawah events and festivals throughout the UK building bridges in the community and spreading a positive message and image of the beautiful faith of Islam.

Our platform has also been used successfully to make awareness of those less fortunate,  thus 1Eid serves both purposes through our donors, to give people their basic human needs (food/water/shelter / education/ healthcare) but also the human need of joy, hope and community which is just as important. You can’t just send Eid gifts to children and ignore the plight of the family unit especially if they lack basic needs such as shelter and food.

1Eid has been able to achieve  tremendous work in the UK but also use our platform to support those abroad as this is the very essence of Eid itself, to want for others what you want for yourself.

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “None of you will have faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

In another narration, the Prophet said, “Until he loves for his neighbor what he loves for himself.
