Campaign: Life Saver
Help us raise money for Live Saver
5 years of relentless war has brutally crushed the people of Yemen, swiftly leading to what the UN has described as the worst humanitarian crisis in the world for the last 2 years. In fact, Yemen is in a truly critical state as the situation has declined even further this year and almost 80% of its 28 million population are now in need of aid.
Every 10 minutes, a child dies in Yemen – at least 85,000 under 5-year olds have starved to death to date
Almost 20 million people need basic healthcare, water and access to sanitation facilities, with over 14 million in acute need
Over 3 million people have been left displaced by conflict
Families in Yemen are living a mammoth nightmare. In a short space of time, their lives have been changed beyond recognition and now every day is a fight for survival. The entire nation is at significant risk and is dependent upon help from the outside world. Please don’t underestimate the impact even a small donation can make on someone’s life in Yemen – they need all our prayers and help during these tragic times.
Our Response
Global Relief Trust have registered offices in Yemen and we are the leading (UK/world) charity working on the ground. From treating children suffering from malnutrition to patients with cancer, we are there to cover every sector of need in Yemen with your help. We are also pleased to report that we have launched our first bread factory in Yemen, providing bread daily to over 5000 people.
£30 - provide coronavirus hygiene packs
£50 - feed a family for a month
£333 - feed 5000 with bread
£500 - save a malnourished childs life
