BUILDING A MASJID IN BANGLADESH
ON BEHALF OF SHAYKH UL HADEETH MUFTI ABU ZAFAR
After losing the blessed Imam of Kings Heath Masjid, Sheikh ul Hadeeth Mufti Abu Zafar, we thought it is fitting to build a Masjid in one of the poorest parts of Bangladesh as Sadaqa Jariya on his behalf.
This Masjid will have a capacity of 150 worshippers, along with toilet facilities and wudhu area. It will also have a madrassah whereby over 80students will study the Quran and Islamic Studies.
I pray to Allah this Masjid becomes an accepted form of Sadaqah Jariyah for our beloved Shaykh.
If we dont manage to raise the intended target, InshaAllah all the money raised will go towards building handpumps that will provide clean water in Bangladesh and Pakistan to families who currently struggle to find access to clean water. These handpumps will also serve as Sadaqa Jariya for our beloved Sheikh.
Sadaqah Jariyah is a form of charity that continues to earn a person reward even after they pass away.
It can be given in your name or on behalf of someone else.
It can even be given on behalf of a loved one who has passed away, making it the perfect way of honouring their memory as well as doing something beneficial for them.
The prophet, pbuh said: ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’.
