Help us raise money for Spot Academy Girls School
Salaam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah wa Barakaatuh;
City ISOC are pleased to announce we are fundraising for Spot Academy Girls School and Multi Purpose Centre; an amazing project and one which is very dear to our hearts. Those that have been following SPOT for a number of years now will see the great impact they have had on the young orphan boys and greater community in Gambia and how they, by the permission of Allah have transformed the lives of so many young boys and people in the community. From providing modern shelter, teaching Quran and Islamic studies as well as secular studies equipping the young boys with the qualities and skills enabling them ultimately to thrive and consequently give back in the future. Alhamdulilah now a similar project has been launched for our young sisters and you have the opportunity to be a part of it...
This fundraising page serves to contribute towards completing a Girls school and multi-purpose centre for the local community in Tujereng, Gambia. Spot Project has built a state of the art orphanage and school for boys and now with the permission of Allah, they intend to do the same for girls.
Allah, the Exalted, says:
“And whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah’s Cause), He will replace it.” (Qur’an - 34:39)
“And whatever you spend in good, it is for yourselves, when you spend not except seeking Allah’s Countenance. And whatever you spend in good, it will be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.” (Qur’an - 2:272)
“And whatever you spend in good, surely Allah knows it well.” (Qur’an - 2:273)
Abdullah binAmr bin Al -`as (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), “Which act in Islam is the best?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “To feed (the poor and the needy) and to greet those whom you know and those you do not know.”

We hope to raise £2000 to help these wonderful children that are deprived of basic necessities and education and in need of these types of facilities in order for them to have a bright and promising future and pass on to the next generations.
In this blessed month of Ramadan and with the final 10 nights upon us don't miss out on the opportunity to be a part of this amazing project and attain great reward with Allah.
Charity does not diminish the wealth, and charity can take place in many forms.
